“This conceptual label is a photography project that I started during lockdown in 2020. Each year, post harvest, I’ll take a self portrait to represent that respective vintage which will then be utilized as the label - it aims to offer an insight into what I was thinking that year. In 20 years’ time you’ll be able to line up all of the bottles and see how I mature as both a winemaker and a man.” - Angus Vinden.
2023 Gamay Noir | Shiraz | Gewürztraminer | Pinot Meunier - Disintegration
Sourced from our Vinden and Somerset Vineyards. The Gamay and Shiraz were co-fermented with 10% whole bunch and 90% whole berry in open concrete fermenters, wild fermented, and hand plunged. The Gewürztraminer was blended in for malolactic fermentation in neutral French oak. Enjoy it now or on a hot summers’ day served lightly chilled.
