This light, crisp, perfumed style of Shiraz was sourced from our Vinden vineyard planted in 1995 over red clay soil and Stoney Broke Vineyard in Broke. Wild fermented with 10% whole bunch, 90% whole berry in open concrete tanks and matured in concrete tanks/ neutral French oak barrels. Enjoy it now or on a hot summer’s day - serve slightly chilled. 2022 Charmless Man

Named after the Blur Song, ‘Charmless Man’, this wine was an experimental batch for the 2022 vintage. This funky little blend of Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet, Tempranillo & Shiraz is light, fun and delicious.

Made in traditional methods: cold soaked; fermented wild in open concrete fermenters (5% whole bunch); hand plunged and aged in French oak puncheons. The wine is a vibrant modern Hunter Shiraz with fine tannin, and red and black fruits.

This Shiraz was sourced from our Somerset vineyard and handpicked in February 2023. The blocks were planted by the Howard family in the 1960’s & 70’s on red volcanic clay soil, over a limestone hillside in Pokolbin. Made in traditional methods: cold soaked; fermented wild (10% whole bunch) in open concrete fermenters; hand plunged and aged in French oak Foudre and Puncheons for 11 months. The wine is a vibrant modern Hunter Shiraz with fine tannin and dark fruits.
